Within the framework of this partnership, we entrust various customer knowledge and customer relationship management services to our subcontractor ONLYLYON (Place Bellecour, BP 2254, 69214 Lyon Cedex 02 – France).
The aim of customer knowledge is to improve knowledge and understanding of the behaviour of visitors to the Lyon metropolitan area. This is done in order to improve the welcome they are offered in our territory, to communicate more effectively with them (e.g. to avoid them receiving three similar communications from different tourism stakeholders in Lyon over the same period) and to offer them a visitor experience that is as relevant and personalized as possible. Data used as part of customer knowledge processing are anonymized. Furthermore, it is forbidden to include external data from service providers that are not members of the partnership in the processing of customer knowledge. This partnership does not provide for the exchange or transfer of data between the partners in any way.
The aim of management of the customer relationship throughout the year and during the stay is to enable tourism-related and non-commercial communication on behalf and in the name of all the partners of the project. Management of the customer relationship throughout the year and during the stay is done either using all of the partner files for the purpose of promoting the destination, or on behalf of a particular partner, in which case only the customer file of that partner will be used.

Customers’ personal data that is collected for the purpose described in section 2 are kept for a period of 5 (five) years as of the end of the commercial relationship. This period takes into account the stay cycle generally observed in tourist visits.
Data that make it possible to provide evidence of a right or contract, or that are kept in order to fulfil a legal obligation, may be kept for a longer period and be archived in accordance with applicable legal provisions (in particular those set out in the French Code of Commerce, the French Civil Code and the French Consumer Code).

In certain circumstances, refusal to provide the necessary information, such as that mentioned in section 3, may make it impossible to register you as a customer, and to carry out the sales contract for the product or service, and, as a result, oblige the customer to abandon their purchase.
Your data may be used for the purposes of electronic commercial communication, by email or by SMS, from us and related to products or services that are similar to those that you have acquired or to which you have subscribed. Your data may also be used by our subcontractor ONLYLYON (Place Bellecour, BP 2254, 69214 Lyon Cedex 02 – France) for the purposes of sending, in our name and on our behalf, by email or by SMS, messages providing information about events in the destination (newsletter).
